What? Insufficient votes?!

K-log Posted on 2007-02-02 01:23

People obnviously have no taste – or maybe other bands are just better vote-whores than we are. I am grumpy because we didn’t go on form Emergenza – and we even played for a an agreeable audience which was rocking to the music!

Read in Gaffa today that one of the bands who went on, Goddess, actually got three stars for their demo – impossible – their lead singer can’t sing good live!

Anyway – the band met today and planned the events of the year 2007 – which is , of course, to become yet another breathtaking page-turner for those Kardiophiliacs out there (in terms of concerts and special releases).

Gonna see a lot of you out there soon!

But first : skiing. Adios smiley

Kristoffer joins us

We have chosen our new bass-player and already we’re crunching away towards new goals. The first rehearsal with Kristoffer as a member was an intensely satisfying experience – he is much different and very engaging to play with.

I think we are all very happy there days, as we are heading for the second rehearsal this evening. Let’s just hope they didn’t turn down the heat out there .. (Fingers crossed) .. studpid landlords.

We have chosen five songs for our next concert on Stengade the 30th of Jan. They are:
Winter’s Coming (must have!)
Dispatch (That ambulance thing)
H2O (I love this one, it’s a dance/rock track with a great chorus)
Resist (Mag and Daniel wanted this, which annoys me since it has no recurring chorus)
Don’t Stop Me (must have!)

Kristoffer seemed to like the material (He’d better!), and we played through most of it on sunday.

It’ll be kick-ass – come see us at Emergenza Festival the 30th of january! (check main page for upcoming info)

And a happy new year

Dear all – this has been a wonderful christmas..

We have had time to ourselves the past week; a time which has been a nice chance to ponder on the bassplayers we met. I have been with my numerous – and at times onerous – family and am now visiting the parents of my GF in the 3rd and 4th days after christmas. Still, I am also reading texts for the paper I am handing in at PolSci on the 2nd of January. Hopefully it will turn out less crappy than I continue to fear.

Today I went with my GF to the habour for fresh fish – and they basically threw ’em at us 🙂 Nice to be in the country, where business strategies aren’t always protit-maximizing.

However: Looking forward to a return to the city of hopes and dreams, la cité du Copenhague. There I shall once again make music with my wonderful two compadres.

A beinto!
– Le Raz

Still looking

Today I have been updating the site and screening some mails from potentiel bass-players. Still not sure if we have the right one..

I wonder:
Do you like the new tracks – anyone? I do. Looking forward to playing them live again, and seeing you all there.

I hope to persude the others to blog along with me from time to time, so look out – it might just happen.
